If you choose the option with the guided visit included, discover Granada’s beautiful historic city center with your guide. This city, rich in history, boasts numerous monuments and points of interest. Learn about the history of the souk, the Cathedral, the Royal Chapel, and much more. Enjoy free time to sample the famous and delicious tapas, go shopping, or take photos of the iconic buildings in the city center. At the agreed time, meet your guide again to head to the Alhambra.
Immerse yourself in a guided tour and learn about the historical significance of the Alhambra. Declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, it is the most famous and best-preserved Moorish monument in Spain. Discover the various decorative details throughout the monument, built in the 13th century. During the 13th and 14th centuries, the Alhambra grew into a palatine city until the Christian conquest of Granada. It later became a Royal Residence, the Captaincy General of the Kingdom of Granada, and a military fortress until its declaration as a monument.
Admire the site’s rich architecture, adapted to the many changes the complex underwent over the centuries. Walk through the Generalife Gardens and marvel at what was once the recreational area of the palace during the Nasrid dynasty.
At the end of the visit, we will return to our original destination on the Costa del Sol
